Are you passionate about enhancing the well-being of others through beauty and self-care? Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is looking for a compassionate and skilled Beauty Therapist / Nail Therapist to bring joy and confidence to our residents through pampering and relaxation.
The Role:
As our Beauty Therapist / Nail Therapist, you will:
- Provide professional beauty treatments, including manicures, pedicures, facials, massage and basic skincare services.
- Create a warm and relaxing environment to make residents feel at ease.
- Adapt treatments to suit the individual needs of elderly clients, focusing on their comfort and safety.
- Build positive relationships with residents, promoting confidence and self-esteem.
- Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure equipment is clean and safe to use.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Beauty Therapist with experience in manicures and pedicures (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is desirable).
- A patient, kind, and empathetic approach to working with elderly clients.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport.
- A passion for making others feel valued and cared for.
- Previous experience working in a care setting is an advantage but not essential.
